Interesting. The icon doesn't show up for me, either.

The first thing I thought was that your save was corrupted, but when I was trying to figure out how to get around the problem, I tried meditating and got hit by an arrow. I think that one of the enemies glitched so that they're stuck somewhere out of reach/sight, and them being alive is what's keeping the prompt from appearing.

Have you loaded a save from before you fight those people?
I can't rest/meditate there either. And I loaded up a brand new game did the whole thing through still no luck :( Funny thing is when I run away from the ballista and up the stairs and sheathe my sword, Geralt automatically draws it when I get somewhat near the place where the two crossbowmen hiding behind their wooden stakes are. Very very odd...I might have to try a reinstall and see how that goes :/

Do you think you could upload a save just past that point though? Like before the other portions of the prologue have been played so I can just get past it? So sorry for the bother!

Hey, I found out how to solve your problem. Basically something got stuck that prevented plot progression. So basically you just save again, and load from the new save. Upon doing that, I found that 3 soldiers respawned (they weren't supposed to), and the mouse cursor appeared.

There was once I was fooling around and accidentally stopped 2 NPCs when they were trying to do something - they ended up standing there and not doing what they were supposed to do. Upon saving and loading, there were some kind of reset on their behaviour and they went on to do what they were scripted to do.
