I installed the Witcher 2 today, updated to version 3.2 and then started the game.

Everything ran fine until I started the arena (and afterwards the tutorial). Interaction with the mouse works fine and controls on the keyboard likewise - at least some of them (ESC, TAB and some letters). WASD won't work for walking around though and some other keys are not functioning.

Anything obvious that I'm missing? Thanks in advance for any help. :)

I have got the same problem: the keyboard is working, but WASD doesn't react, so I can't walk and do anything...
Have either of you checked the "Keyboard Setup" box (in the options menu you get through the launcher) to see if you have it set to something other than "EN ( QWERTY )"?
I changed it to "QWERTZ" because I have a german keyboard; but it won't work...
Same problem here. I can't even play the tutorial.

Okay, now it is working for me. I opened the keyboard layout editor, and installed the last (called chinese?) patch, and now it is working as it should.

Only thing I can think of is that your key mapping is messed up somehow. I'm not sure if this will work or not, but I uploaded my "Input_QWERTY.ini" file from the config folder (the one in the same "Witcher 2" folder as the gamesaves folder). Try making sure that the keyboard is set to QWERTY in the configurator and replacing your file with mine.

Kind of a last-ditch effort, honestly.
