Just got the game on sale, and downloaded all the files I need. I have setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25 1-11

It runs the the installer a little over half way, and then stops and says: F:\GOG Games\The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition\CookedPC\movies\movies [and dose it for all the files with the extinction .usm]

An error occurred while trying to copy a file: the source file is corrupted

and I don't really want to re-download all 15Gb. Is there a specific one of the bins I need to re-download? Help please

EDIT: I identified which .bin was the issue, and re-d downloaded it, and the same thing is happening.

Hello, the installer should have a "verify integrity before installation" tick that and it will tell you which piece of the installer is corrupted. You only need to re download the corrupted part.

EDIT: my bad didn't read the edited part, are you using the gog downloader or manually downloading them 1 by 1?

If you want to make sure all files are properly downloaded and you want to avoid further downloads, use the GOG Downloader. It fetches all 15 GB in small chunks and verifies each one once the download is completed. If one is corrupt, the downloader re-downloads only the defect part.

If you want to check your current files, use the MD5 checksums in the GOG Wiki
http://www.gogwiki.com/wiki/The_Witcher_2:_Assassins_of_Kings,_Enhanced_Edition
(Open the "File Details + MD5 Hashes" on the right side to see the checksums).
The only thing you need is one of the many MD5 checksum calculation programs and calculate them for your downloaded files. They must be exactly the same as those in the Wiki, otherwise the divergent file is corrupt.
