Flitters: I can relate to the directionally challenged!
avatar
227: Me too. I'd say that we should all start a club for those with no sense of direction, but we'd all just get lost on the way to the club meetings.
Haha :) GPS devices for everyone!

dnna: Haha :) GPS devices for everyone!
Fun fact: GPS devices occasionally use outdated or just plain wrong information. Long story short, I've managed to get lost in the woods with a GPS. The crazy thing is that I didn't even begin in the woods.

Oh. We're doomed :C

(I've never used a GPS device before, I rely on Google Maps screenshots and pretend I'm in a videogame, looking for my ~goal destination)
Then there is at least 3 members of the newly formed GPS (Got Probably Slayed) club. First meeting in the woods. Flashlight optional. ;)

YAY OP!

227: Damn, does your Geralt have a constant leg cramp or something? He must be moving at a snail's pace.
avatar
Flitters: My 'clicking' fingers have cramps. Although I think AudryWinters' Geralt is probably nekkid somewhere ALOT. =P
Well, THAT is Kindo's fault. The nekkid part. Like running through Flotsam with a hangover and the guys didn't even let me keep my breeches! That's what a witcher gets for going commando. Trying to ride on whore's back. :-o
And where do you even get the idea, that MY Geralt is particularly clothing challenged? Does it say so on my forehead or what?

I also apply for membership in the GPS club. Not finding your way does take time. Not having a game pc for a week takes time. Slowly walking around in awe of the beautiful world takes time. Hunting all night in the hopes to one day get them ALL, those suckers, takes time. Replaying cutscenes, because they are THAT good takes time. Crashing a lot and repeating stuff takes time.

Of course I wanted to do everything, craft everything, buy everything etc. the first time around. By now I know what is worth having and what isn't. But I still like to roleplay and that means (for me) taking my time and looking at it as if it was the first time I saw it. Whatever "it" is in the respective moment.

@Goopit
Haha, now I recognize you. Say, do you have Kindo's mod, too? I recall that funny discussion on the official forums about Geralt's state of (un)dress in the cutscene... that was your topic. ;)

It's kinda funny how neither of these 4 endings is actually unique. Every one of them can lead to 2 completely different fates for Roche, Temeria and Anais, depending of what you do with Anais, after you save it.

That means 4 extra endings for total of 20.

P.S.
Sure, that choice doesn't give fancy comic book styled cutscene, but leads to different epilogue none-the-less.

True, that was one of the hardest decisions for me on Roche's path, and one which seems pretty important too. I guess the line about 'a lot can happen between then and now' means maybe they have something planned for Anais in the sequel? Although, maybe the war with Nilfgard is just too soon for her to make a difference, no matter who's castle she's staying at at the time :P

Still I trust Roche sorted things out with her ok whilst I was busy with Triss and Iorveth :)

The choices regarding Saskia, Shaela and the Kingslayer are not even considered? Does that mean none of them, including Dethmold, would appear in the sequel? Strange.

some of them probably will but I don't think all since that'd be too convenient like how it was a good move for CDPR to give the people who chose the order path in W1 a benefit while leaving out the scoiatel and neutral one for later or never.
