They follow you WAY TOO CLOSE. They will crowd you into small spaces making it difficult or near impossible to get out.

Someone needs to teach them about personal space.

They will also block me from rolling out of the way of exploding necrophages.

Should be some option to give them commands such as "stay back for now" or "follow _ paces behind". Or at least an option to tell them they're not needed and that you can handle yourself.
Yea, they pissed me off to no end as well. I found if you race ahead of them (especially through a door) you could generally fight without their boxing you in, because they took a long time to catch up.

This is also a good time to use alt to lock on to specific targets and choose targets that are on the peripheries or not being attacked by the dwarves so as to avoid any potential for being boxed in.

I developed the strategy of dropping a trap at my feet specifically because these damn dwarves had me boxed in with three mobs once and I couldn't move, at all, on my first playthrough. :p

Well, now, some cultures have a different sense of personal space. ;)
Yeah, I hated getting blocked in by a group of sturdy, squarish little dudes, but they eventually get out of your way. I like the dungeon crawl as a whole, though. I thought it was a nice take on that kind of level, especially after the dwarves told Geralt that the mine was right in the middle of town. No need to go out to the middle of nowhere. Why would he even think that?
