It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I deleted past GOGdownloader, configured my Firefox Applications options, tried without unzip it, else it does not want my password, or it does not want to download (standing at 2MB; I configured well my firewall, saying yes to GOGDL)

Have you ever used the downloader for any other title on GOG.com?
I had some trouble with the GOG downloader as well, but downloading the "browser chunks" worked perfectly for me. It's worth a try...

Sounds like your firewall's not playing nice with the GOG Downloader. Could you try disabling it temporarily and seeing if that fixes the issue?
I think there could be a link with PDF reader, as GOGDL seem asking me to finish my install' of AdobeReader update. i did it but it didn't solve.
(I see 11DF things: PDF badly related?)

There's no need to install Adobe Reader to run the GOG downloader, no. GOG's dowloader is a custom app that doesn't have any dependencies.

Try the browser and see if the download starts for you at all. I don't think you want to d/l the entire game that way, but it's a start.

Ok, I disabled WebGuard and it seems good. Maybe it's the issue I mailed to GOG, where Avira is banning GOG new website.
