Xayoz: And if it wasn't for Nazis, half of Europe might be speaking Russian now.
Indeed, most Estonians would have probably picked Nazi occupation over the Soviet one.
This has little to do with Witcher 2 tho.

sb87: The Soviets did defeat the Nazis so your argument doesn't hold up. But hey, at least you're being honest, I respect that.
It's not like the Soviet defeated the Nazis without losing part of their military force so well, let's say without one of the force, the world would havebeen dominated by the other but cuz both existed, both got softened
Its speculated that all witchers infact may be immortal thanks to their mutations.

But its never been put to the test and most of them die at a middle age by being killed due to their profession or just the world they live in (might be discriminated against and a mob may rise up to try to kill one)

After all the things that live longer than all of them, elves, sorcerers/esses are the monsters, the kayren was ancient and thats what witchers are infused with and continue to mutate themselves with as they kill more monsters, take their parts and brew them and consume them to mutate more.

Paul_cz: Yeah Adda was 14, while Foltest was around 35, so he had her when he was 21. In TW2 he looks over 50 I'd say.
But when Saga ends, how old is Ciri? 16-17 I think ? And was she born after or before the Adda curse short story? I don't remember. If she was born after this story, then it would not make sense that Dandelion is so young, yeah.
Does he? I think he always constantly looks quite young 25-35.

Its the hair thats throwing you off.

Metallica1327: In Witcher 2 people call Geralt "old man" in multiple occasions and even Geralt himself says "I'm getting too old for this!". Anyone know how old he is? Maybe it says in the books?
he s about 100
I think he is a little poor girl

I don't think witchers are meant to be immortal in the books, just very slow aging. Wizards are only truly immortal, gaining eternal youth too thanks to elixirs and magic, but witchers show signs of aging (Vesemir).

Old enough to drink until getting drunk, old enough to do fisstech, old enough to share a bed with all these women throughout the series, old enough to enter the brothel and most importantly, old enough to faq the princess, too.

Vesemir is guessed to be over 400 years old. Let's say 400 exactly for the sake of arguement.

He is still in fantastic shape (still hunts monsters) and could easily pass as a healthy 50 year old. So if someone would die in the real world at 100 years, that's the equivalent of 800 Vesemir years. Considering Geralt has even more mutations I wouldn't be surprised if he could make it to 1000 if he lived a same, healthy life.

If it was just flat out said that they're immortal I don't think it would make any difference as no witcher will ever die of old age anyway.
