Polish development studio Flying Wild Hog announced its first PC-only project - a dark sci-fi FPS called Hard Reset. The futuristic, urban setting puts players into a world where humanity is on the brink of extinction. The only prevailing city is being in danger of being attacked by robotic hordes (vaguely familiar...). Here's more info:

In the only remaining human city of Bezoar, Major Fletcher, an Army Combat Veteran and soldier of the CLN, is dragged into a conflict between two of mankind’s greatest enemies. He is to discover that nothing is what it seems to be.

Hard Reset may be Flying Wild Hog’s debut title, but the 35-person studio is comprised of veterans of Warsaw’s bustling development scene, with past experience at such renowned developers as People Can Fly, CD Projekt RED and City Interactive, where they worked on acclaimed games like Bulletstorm, Painkiller, The Witcher 2, Sniper and more. Hard Reset is built upon the studio’s own Road Hog technology, which delivers stunning visuals that bring the game’s incredible atmosphere to life.

Polish developers always offer something new in their games. Hope this one will live to its slogan; A cyberpunk first-person shooter like no other.

I really hope this will be good. But I wish it was more into RPG side of things, not just pure shooter. But if it is successful, who knows.

One thing is for sure - Hard Reset is awesome name for a game :-).

Hopefully it's not another Mass Effect clone..

I'm with ya there as it looks as if it might be a fab game for a shoot em up.. I love the title.

Since when is ME 1. a FPS and 2. a cyberpunk game? :P

Looks misterious and promising, especially considering it is 2 months till release...I just hope lack of multiplayer won't kill it as FPS game. Or hopefully they will add it later on, based on the reception of the initial SP version of the game.

Dammit. Too bad it's a FPS. I seriously don't like FP perspective, which is one reason why I almost never play FPS games.
