Ebon-Hawk: You sound like the kid I knew long time ago in 5th grade that would stomp his foot and abuse his parents if they did not get him his favourite icecream.... is that what you were aiming for?
I'm not entirely sure how to reply that. The insult you're intending is obvious, but I just can't seem to summon the energy to do more than acknowledge it. That and I'm not really used to being directly attacked, so I'm sort of out of practice.

If nothing else the remark you quoted was what I saw as a final post to a thread that I feel has been entirely ignored by GOG.com and CD Project Red. That, and the feature requests part of the wishlist probably supersedes these sort of one-off threads anyway.
Doesn't matter to me, 320kbps is already transparent for me. Maybe lossless or WAV is better for archiving purpose. But based on my experience buying and downloading music online, some of them actually are not ripped from the original source (from the CD, tape etc.). But they are converted from mp3 to FLAC. Average consumer don't care / not realize about this, as long as they can see the ".flac" as the extension, they're happy.

My indirect insult was indeed intended as a response to your insult by saying you feel "ignored" by CDPR. While I should know better and stay away from this type of conversations maybe on this occasion, one last time...?

Tell me... and this is a honest question. Do you actually demand, believe, see it as necessary for the developer/producer/distributor to acknowledge every single post from a fan (regardless how dedicated the fan) otherwise you default to "feeling ignored"?
Interesting thread. I'm another lover of the lossless FLAC format, one reason why I'm still buying all my music on CD (bad CD mastering aside) and bandcamp who nicely offer FLAC (and I can only hope they are mastered with more headroom than the MP3).

I don't like our chances of GOG delivering FLAC or wav

To my insult? I never said anything to you. Also, by saying "I feel ignored", how is that an insult in your general direction?

It's an expression of a particular sentiment. Bottom line is I don't come here to get into a tit for tat name calling or insult-slinging experience. If you want to directly attack someone, that's your deal, but I don't have the time or energy to participate in those sort of "discussions".

Best wishes.
