Was getting this up-to-last night, then started working on its own after midnight my time. The only thing I did at the time was clean up my internet files & cookies for a browser issue I have been having. I do not think that would fix the issue but something seems to have changed.
To clear the error statement, you may have to remove a register entry :

1. tape regedit in the run option of the windows menu.
2. go to Current user settings (I think, but can't be sure now, working on a Linux comp).
3. go to software -> witcher 2 -> DLC or something like that.
4. You should see numbered entries to the right. Right click or double click (don't remember) to have a quick look on the value of the entries.
5. When you see the one that talks about troll trouble dlc, remove it from the register.
6. Restart the launcher, it should now work properly.

Hello. Troll Trouble DLC is already included in the 1.1 patch, you should be ok.

Info posted at: http://en.thewitcher.com/patch/
it's not included in the patch , the patch is only 15mbs , plus , it was removed from the DLC menu
It's in the patch.
The DLC is not in the launcher menu but it doesn't matter. Just play, you will see that the quest is there.
