From the CDPR blog:
The Xbox 360 version will be an enhanced adaptation of the PC game released to instant international acclaim and commercial success in mid-May. It will incorporate numerous improvements and enhancements, of which details will be announced in the coming months.
Enhanced? Improvements? WTF? What about enhancing it for the PC?

...is there anyway to fix a typo in the thread title?....................

Probably means "with PC patches". TWEE was just a patched edition of the original game, was it not?

If they get any goodies/extra content, we will probably get it, too.
Hopefully. It all goes back the disturbing lack of communication from CDPR lately. This could be cleared up very quickly, if they choose to.

I agree with this.

I know, it's frustrating :( I wish they communicated more, there are so many questions I want to ask, but don't want to just e-mail them because all of my questions are too trivial and I know they're busy fixing people's saves and figuring out how to solve compatibility issues. And what with Mr. Gop leaving... ugh.

While I think you are a tad paranoid, I do agree that an increased presence of CDPR staff in the forum (not sure if the devs were active back when official forum was alive though) would be very welcome. Even just saying hi.

They already said both platforms would basically get the same content, updates, etc.

I also think they are playing up the FunBox release with some PR speak. Like calling it an adaptation, not a port, and enhanced. Whatever.

As for 'communication', anyone from the old forums knows they rarely engaged in such a thing. :P

So we are not missing much in terms of dev participation with the official forums being down then.
Nope. It's never been a priority with them, but I take them at their word. What they did with TWEE went a long way to gain my confidence.

I was there right after the release of TW1. And the communication was way better back then. When the advanced edition was released the participation of CDRed declined (which is understandable because most bugs were fixed and the performance optimized and thus the majority of customers were happy). But now well let's say it's ... different?! (for the worse)

They already cleared it out. They meant that it will be patched version and it will have included all DLCs etc. It won't be better than PC version.
I'm fairly certain that much of what was developed for TW1 Enhanced Edition was created with an eye toward incorporating it in the aborted console version. Between now and the Xbox release of TW2 we will probably see a comparable level of development and I'm sure we will get most of whatever new content as either a patch or DLC. If it's a really big addition perhaps we will see an expansion. I'm still hoping that an SDK or game editor gets released, too.

As for CDPR's silence recently, I suspect it's mostly to do with Gop's departure, but I've been disappointed with their reticence, too. Hopefully they will find a new spokesman soon.
Maybe it's due to Gop leaving. But then I saw him on the old forums like twice.

Thing is, if you release a partially broken game - which they have - people either expect it to be fixed, or an explanation of why it won't be. What we ( pc gamers ) don't need to hear about is their grandiose plans for porting it to consoles, because I don't own a console and I don't give a rat's ass about consoles. This is precisely why I fucking hate consoles.

Not the console or console gamers' fault. Nor is Alfred Nabel to be blamed.

That's like saying fat, lazy people aren't responsible for Mc Donalds.
