Hello,

Been playing witcher 2 for most of the day and its been fun. But just now I played a sequence where geralt gets hammered with Roache's soldiers in chapter 1. I arm wrestled with both soldiers and won and then Geralt woke up in the river bank without any kit on the inventory whatsoever. No armor, weapons, nothing. Just money. A fisherman asked for a bribe to tell me what had happened the night before but I was stingy and the bribe wasn't sufficient. So now Im stuck with no kit and it sucks. Does anyone know if I can get all my kit back somewhere?

I feel the need to say that having just one chance to bribe someone is kinda lame. Specially if you can have repercusions like loosing EVERYTHING.
Speak to a particular lady of negotiable affection, she'll help you out.

Do you mean Triss? Can't find her anywhere...
No, I mean a lady you would pay for her company. You've met her before in fact, at the hanging.

You mean the owner of the brothel? I just did and she had nothing to tell me... think ill just load a save before the incident

All your stuff should be in a chest somewhere in or near the brothel, that's what the game guide says.
Is it actually possible to get rid of the ridiculous neck tattoo you also end up with from this?

Maybe Triss could magick it away, but that would mean explaining how it got there in the first place - a baaad idea! So let's hope for acid splashing monsters...

Seriously - I don't know.
Anyone played a fair amount further after blacking out? That tattoo has to be a joke.

Knowing the devs it'll stay :-)

There are actions, there areconsequences. You kill the baronesse's son, she'll be seeking protection from Nilfgaard. You decide to drink with soldiers, you might not b the same man upon the morrow.

I remember the last time I drunk with a medieval fencing group... Ended up with a mild concussion and aversion to vodka, that still persists after 2 years
Of course, but making the protagonist look utterly silly for the other 80% of the game? It's almost immersion breaking.
I thought it was hilarious, genuinely laughed out loud when I saw it :D

The chest you're looking for is in the guard room under one of the windows, it's sort of red looking.

Chest is locked no idea where to find the key... Its silly that you cant talk to the soldiers about the previous night. Otherwise I have no problem for the tattoo, choice and consequence so long as it doesn't halt your progress through the game.
You can get rid of the tattoo. You'll most certainly talk to the person who knows how to get rid of it. No need for me to spoil it...

Though, there might be consequences for removing it.
