sweenish: what i want worked on is combat movement.
if i throw a sign and immediately hold a direction key, geralt does not move. i have lost way too many times because you have to stand still for a half second before you can parry, or move after a sign (or item).
i think i'm alright at action type games, but i'm dying way too much for it to entirely be my own fault.
Leondres: If i remember right with playing the first game, you had to be standing in the direction u wanted to cast a sign and cast. Casting and then trying to turn didn't work.
i'm able to throw the sign right where i want it. the problem is i typically need geralt to immediately move when he's done, whether it's dodging the other two guys coming at me, or to attack the one i just hit. but he doesn't. he just stands there like a chump.
if i swing my sword and want to immediately take a defensive posture, i can't swing and then hold E. i have to let him finish swinging, then give it a split second, then hit E.
i've also checked to make sure it isn't a vigor issue. he just won't go do anything immediately after throwing a sign.
that's basically forced me to fight like a sissy, taking one or two swings, then roll ten feet away so i can take up a defensive posture or throw one sign and repeat the whole thing.
if the combat is going to be more action oriented, it needs to flow better. action queuing is basically what i'm asking for. if i throw a sign and start holding E while the sign is being thrown, i expect geralt to take a defensive posture once the sign throw animation is done.
