And it's not because I'm gay I only play gay characters in a game. But fact is that I'm not. But it's not because I'm not gay and I am a male that I won't play Tomb Raider and I won't ask them to make her a man to fit my ridiculous self entitlement!

And since I'm on Social Bioware every day for the past couple of yearts (registered since 2003 though, on the old forums of NWN) I can tell you this guy is just trolling because Dragon Age 2 sucks dog's balls compared to TW2, as Thaler might say!

when my gay friends call me a breeder,i feel no offence,and whenever we go out and i say "if i wake up with a sore arse and you say i asked for it i`m going to kick your nutsack" they in turn take it as a joke.

the only people who throw the word "bigot" around are the ones who take an offence only a true bigot can take.

bigotry is in the eye of the beholder,as being homophobic is ethereal,because being antigay is illogical.

Obvious trolling aside, I would definitely feel awkward if they offered homosexual romances for Geralt to pursue. Like many have already replied already, you are not the main character, you can merely influence the actions of an already established character (is it possible that some people have missed that this character and the world as a whole, is based off a series of short stories and novels?), and not mould its personality per se, like you can in your typical Bioware game (or other simlar RPG's).

That being said, I feel male homosexuality is very under-represented in the game. We have a couple of examples of female homosexuality, which is all well and good, but when the only male homosexuality is practised by a deranged, arguably evil and twisted character... Well, at least I felt a bit uncomfortable. I don't want it to be exaggerated in any way, or that you see it all over the place like you do in Dragon Age 2, for example, but some equality would be great.

In the same vein, I wouldn't mind some male nudity to be portrayed as graphically as the female nudity is. I wanted so badly to see a tight, sexy Geralt butt during the bath house scene... but alas, he keeps his pants on. Either both genders should be censored, or neither is. Simple as that. ;)

Fair enough. Okay, I accept the fact that Geralt isn't gay, and likely isn't to be, but some more instances of homosexuality by other characters would be more welcome. Dethmold's little charade excluded, of course.

I really hate the term homophobe, I t implies fear, I do not fear them, I just dislike many of them intensely. I don't give a rats ass what people do in their own house, I just don't need to hear about it constantly.

I'm not your sweetie and what does gender or sexual orientation have to do with Tomb Raider? My very male and straight best friend first showed me Tomb Raider. And 50% of male players of RPG's with customizable character play a female toon, because they can drool over her ass. :P

Well I think there is a TV trope that all the gays are evil maybe that is what he or she is saying but I think that is not exactly the case here everyone in the witcher universe is evil on some level, there are no saint really.

I still find it funny a guy like Geralt that is call a freak, that is different and likes to side with the minorities and still people cannot get the message behind the game, ironic really.

The point is: when you take a deeper look at feelings of anger and hate, you'll find fear is at the root.
