Same thing happening to me, it just closes after I insert the activation code. Thanks a lot CD Projekt for your failure of an activation system.

What engimatic said, also if you check the news section on the official site you will see that CDPR has currently taken the system down for maintenance and it should be back up shortly...

I have a DVD copy not from GOG, so I do need to register it to play. I just saw the post, and that's just great, no better way to ruin my hype for the game than by having maintenance problems.
