If I stay out of the brothels (just like real life), and not select secs acts, can I complete the game and avoid nudity?

Posting purely from speculation here, but I don't believe so. This is a mature game and has been designed as such. While the game may not 'throw it in your face (to coin a phrase) you may find that you will just bump into nudity etc where you go.

It also has its share of foul language.

There *was* some censorship I believe in the AUS edition, where the option to take sexual favours as a quest reward was instantly denied.

Seriously? You don't mind that after every fight Geralt and his sword are covered in blood, but you're afraid of naked people?

considering the opening scene has nudity, though you can skip it by right clicking, i'm going to say no.

but ha its like american tv standards. we can show people getting killed, cut open, so many gross things. have pyschopaths and crazy people and so many messed up stuff, but we can't show even tasteful nudity

You might have to Escape through a cut scene or two (specifically in the prologue), but other than that if you don't look for it you shouldn't find much.

I don't know about you, but I'd much rather have minors viewing a nude body than blood and violence. It just seems the better choice to have them understand that the male/female body is natural and isn't always sexual. Its easier to explain why two people are naked than it is to explain why one person is shoving a sword in someone else.

These questions really baffle me. For starters as was stated it is a MATURE GAME...Made for adults! So if it is children you are protecting (FROM NUDITY???? NOT GRATUITOUS VIOLENCE???) You would best serve "protecting" them by NOT LETTING THEM PLAY IT!!!

If it is you that is afraid of nudity well for starters...that is just weird and sad....secondly...It's not real! It is a game! The naked figures are basically cartoons!! Are people so damn puritan that a drawing of the naked figure is so offensive??? I really hate people that ask this question...there is nothing bad about nudity or sex. Violence is abhorrent....but I understand it is FAKE!

I am weirded out by both ends of this argument. Those that perv out over nudity (Shock2k11, your comment makes me worry about you) and those that are afraid of it. Anyway no you can't completely avoid it, the opening sequence has you getting out of bed next to a naked lady.

I'm guessing the OP just doesn't want others to see him playing the game during such a scene, which is understandable, because it would be difficult to explain to someone why it is relevant when they have no idea what's going on.
