You are right, there is no RMB or SPACE pushing if you have disabled the harder QTE's. However, the clicking part is still there. Some people have put their mouse sensitivity to maximum to help with QTE's, but I fail to see how that would help in the clicking part. Also maybe turning your mouse sideways during that part and clicking the LMB with two fingers instead of one would help?

Edit: Also you can change your keybindings in the Witcher 2 launcher -> options -> input settings. Maybe switching the fast attack to something else for that fight only. I just tried the fight by switching dodge to LMB and fast attack to SPACE, and the QTE changed in Kayran fight accordingly. Since space is the biggest button on your keyboard there should be no problems pressing that with multiple fingers. Altho with this you have to remember that dodge is now in LMB and use that instead of space, which itself can complicate matters even more.

Been riding the tentacle for hours and have yet been able to get my mouse click right to go to the end of the fight! It is getting old, just don't know what my issue is!

I can't help but wonder what double click sensitivity people that have issues with the QTE's are using inside windows. If it's a larger value it may be detecting the QTE clicks as doubleclicks and therefore only counts half the clicks towards the QTE.

It's what I had to do for the Letho fight; his quen was just too strong for me! I turned the difficulty back up to normal, and never looked back.

I have adjusted up and down the scale and the same effect. I have even switched to a game pad...next is to change out my mouse!
This is not a option when you are playing on EASY!

actually i tried lowering resolution a solution that worked for most but not for me may be because my pc is really low end. thanx buddy.

could just switch the response from the mouse clicks in windows so there isn't a delay. Something like windows stuck key being enabled could hinder the game responding to mouseclicks thinking the button is stuck.

I had alot of issues with the fight at first. Timing was key. Knowing the the kayran trap was only worth one tentacle was another. The QTE prompts where often missed because of background blending. Figured out the buttons then it was trying to figure out why I'd die in stage 3. So I just hit quen as soon as I hit the ground and climb to the far side of the rock and get smacked bad then I'd just roll or run to the top...trying to hit quen again would get me killed. Helps if you have 2 in dodge, but not necessary.

I got the game on steam, how do I upload the game and have someone beat the scene for me?

I don't remember how Steam directories are arranged, but you can search for your saved games in the gamesaves folder, and upload both the save file and image file to a place like dropbox. If you go into the steam folder in your PC, look for a folder called commonapps, the Witcher 2 folder should be in there.

Alternatively, I don't mind sharing my saved file.
