For the devs: Every time you go through a door while using a gamepad, the screen makes a 360 degree spin and it's somewhat nauseating. Is there a possible patch fix for this sometime in the future?
I agree it's annoying. I've found that it does not happen if you leave the analog sticks idle as you press x go through the door then do not touch them again until the game has fully reloaded on the other side of the door.
This also happens to me. I have tried increasing the deadzone of the sticks but it didn't help.

Anybody know if there is an xml or ini file for the gamepad settings?
I made a post about it here:

The only workaround is to have a weapon drawn when you use a door.

It only seems to happen when you have your weapon sheathed.

If you remember the first Witcher game had a similar issue. When you enter or leave buildings after the loading screen the camera was facing Geralt instead of being behind him, the logical place.

I am guessing the issue is deeper than we think. Maybe in the animations of the door or something.

Guess I will be walking around like some crazy intoxicated geralt with my weapon drawn until it gets patched.

Yeah, I thought so too. But the guards didnt take to it so kindly.
At this point, I doubt it will ever get patched. I vote instead for total anarchy:
Ho! Ho! All doors must go!

Haha! First mod you'll make when we get the SDK, removes every single door in the game. ;)
Can we get this on the sticky bug list?

I was playing last night and this was just really annoying me!
yep i'm having the same issue. :-(
For me it is just as awful, but don't any of you have the same problem when you are just walking, and trying to look around?

I find that the right stick sensitivity is set way way way way to high. If we had an option to set this, it seem that would fix a lot of these issues.

The mouse settings have absolutely nothing to do with the camera flying wildly around you, it is the right stick only. I have switched to a wired mouse, and even no mouse at all, and the problem is still there.

The latest Update got my hoes up. I just really want to play, but I am not going to go through yet another install just to find out the problems are still there.

Hope this problem has a cure, and goes away.
Same issue here, after a bit of searching, I found the same problem in old archived threads, so it's been around for years. I'm guessing their will be no fix, but I did play this originally with the combat rebalancer mod, and don't remember having that issue, as it also addressed many bugs. I wanted to see the real game this time, now that I have a GPU that can max it at 60fps.
