Hi everyone - total newbie to the Witcher universe here. My friends raved about the game and so here I am. I have a dilemma though: I have a choice between buy a retail Enhanced Edtion or a digital copy (via GOG or Steam).

Now, I notice that the retail version doesn't appear to offer as many extras as the copy from GOG (not sure about Steam). I'd love to get a hardcopy of the artbook and the soundtrack, and I'm therefore thinking of going retail (I assume that it's digital everything from GOG) - my question is, would I still be able to download the missing stuff via patches?

EDIT: just discovered that I can just enter the CD key from any retail version on GOG and download the game. I presume that would come with all the free stuff as well yeah?

Yep. If you're looking to get the most stuff, definitely go retail and redeem the game here.

Slightly off-topic, but since you live in Australia, chances are you'll end up with the edited version. You can uncensor it easily by dropping two files into the CookedPC folder once the game is installed. Just checked, and the last two links here should still work (succubuss.dzip and elf_flotsam.dzip).
