I was surprised to see I can only raise/lower music or the rest of the sound including dialog. I can barely hear the voices over the loud background noise, especially Geralt's voice, which is low compared to those he converses with.

Any way to separate dialog only to raise the volume?

Totally Agreed. There is no excuse for the lack of detailed sound options for this otherwise
awesome game.

I posting the low talking for the english also... I'll have to brush up on my French and German...

I think this is a deal breaker myself in anotherwise great game I hope they can fix it...thats what you get with only Polish beta testers I guess :(

i completely agree.

i was just about to make a thread asking the same thing.

right at the beginning of the game in the army camp i can hardly hear anything anyone is saying because the ballistas are so loud. and dont get me started on the dragon in the prologue, all i can hear is it spamming its fire attack and all the other speech is so quiet as to be inaudible.

very disappointed. im not hard of hearing so i dont need subtitles in games, and im damned sure im not switching them on and off like a light switch just to get around a baffling omission as audio volume options for speech.
anything new on this topic? i thought i had problems with my sound card or something but then i tried polish voice over and it sounds much louder than the english one. it was nice to hear iorweth :( in english version he is almost mute. geralt too. hope there is solution to this
Ya something is wrong with the sound in this game, what I did is set windows to 5.1 then on my AVR raised the center channel to balance it out.
This really is a problem. I just couldn't understand a lot of the dialogue. Had to enable subtitles. And I really, really, *really* hate subtitles in an English game.
Agreed. I am absolutely loving this game, but there are several parts where I would have no idea what was being said without reading the subtitles.
Yeah english voices are too quiet in comparison with everything else, especially geralt's who's practically whispering in comparison
Did anyone find anything in the configs to do this?
yes this is very annoying, please if someone finds out how to manage sound properly please let us know!
i am also very annoyed at this. currently i have to use subtitles and i don't like to do that. please fix this asap.
The dialog is pretty loud in original Polish voice over.
agree as well, have to have subtitles on to understand things sometimes
Having problems too hearing certain characters (mostly Geralt), strangely the other npc voices are so loud in comparison...
