Since Witcher 2 is on sale: is it possible to entirely disable any QTE's now?

I droped the game back then for this QTE stuff. They were beatable for me by lowering graphic options and difficulty but still a chore. Want to make sure I don't have to deal with this sh*t again before I purchase another copy for my Mac.

You can disable some but not all of the QTEs.

The "timing QTEs", like dodging the dragon in the Prologue, can be disabled.

Other QTEs, including "fill the bar" QTEs like aiming the ballista, cannot be disabled.

The tentacle ride QTEs in the Kayran battle are a continual source of complaints. On some systems, these simply will not complete. It's commonplace over in the official forum to ask somebody to play the Kayran battle for you.

i hated that QTE from the kayran battle, i already dismembered those 4 tentacles and got to lose because i didn't notice the QTE, so i disabled the hard QTE's makes it look like just continuation animation after beating the enemy i really hate QTEs i like it much better when you just beat bosses conventionally.

CD PROJEKT should make a patch to disable the Kayran QTE, I mean if it is a common source of trouble and frustration for the players they should be aware that it is not good for their game, and if they can make patches and DLCs that add and remove stuff, like the Monk which was later disabled or the troll quest, it is pretty clear they can modify that specific part. they could modiy it to make it easier.

you can already disable the QTE's for the whole game the hard QTE's that is, there is this check box in the gameoption part of the option menu where you can check or uncheck the hard QTE's to enable and disable it, i unchecked it cause i got frustrated on the kayran part and voila all boss fights that uses QTE's are gone its like after reducing the boss's HP you get to concentrate on a really good cutscene, when i unchecked it i didn't do QTE's for the kayran where you have to press the mouse button so geralt will jump on the tentacles, the dragon on the last part where you have to press correctly so geralt will jump at the back of the dragon not get mauled down, and also while riding the dragons back no QTE...
