Clearly there are those who still need someone to kill the Kayran for them, but I rarely come around here anymore and it seems like it's about the same for the others who used to help out, too. For people who have beaten the game once and can handle starting a new game after the Kayran is dead (with none of the Ch. 1 quests finished), I recommend my generic dead-Kayran saves here: http://www.gog.com/en/forum/the_witcher_2/generic_kayran_dead_saves

hay guys i know i m a bit old in this , but i have the same problem of the kayran, i chopped off the 3 tentacles and even the 4 tentacles each time i press the left mouse bottom and i reach the maximum bar but it throws me off and nothing happens, i ll upload my last save if someone could do it for me and loot it , i ll be gratefull

I didn't loot it because you were already over the weight limit, but looting it is as simple as walking up and clicking. I picked up all the stuff I dropped to get you under the weight limit so everything should be the way it was. You know, except for the giant dead Kayran. Obviously.

I forgot to mention this earlier, but your save was large so you'll probably have to update the game for that save to work.

I'm on my knees here people, this is my last resort since, all that hoo-ya did not work. I give you my save game and any hero here on the forum is welcome to beat that damn octopussy.

i could use help as well, low level but i can make it through up to the QTE fairly easily, autosave at cinematic before fight begins.

Leafff got helped in another thread, so... no need for anyone to do that, anymore, barring some catastrophic depositfiles explosion that destroys the uploaded save file.

And for you future Kayran save-uploadees—please don't post your saves in multiple threads. You could potentially get helped multiple times and waste someone's time. It's happened before, and it pisses people off.

The usual plea - my Geralt spends 3 to 4 minutes lopping off tentacles then 30 minutes playing hop on tentacle, fall off tentacle, watch day turn into night and hear Sile say 'Hurry! He's about to break free!' a few dozen times.

Save game at the Sile summons Kayran point - Geralt is level 9 and buffed with rook, ostmark, swallow and grindstone.
