I find it amazing that GOG members have helped someone pass this level faster than some people took to complete it themselves. Good job everyone!

Also, you sound like you're going to have fun with the boss at the very end of the game. That one is far, far worse.

mondotomhead: I'm with you Svjarbeau. I spend 3 hours trying to kill that thing last night. I did watch the youtube vids and did read all the threads on this subject and I just can't get this. The best I ever did was get 3 of the tentacles and heard Sile say "we are getting someone darling". HA!

I'm on easy with the QTE's off also.

Add me as a desperate woman too.........

Thank you so much for the offer Mippoh but I managed last night to kill the blasted thing after approx 20 reloads and watching a youtube vid twice. I was so doing the happy dance when that cutscene played. Thanks again for the offer.

I'm still on a major high this morning! I had over 4 hours and many, many reloads into this fight. I just couldn't give up because I love this game and you can't move on if the Kayran lives. Geralt has got a nice Kayran trophy hanging off his belt. I smile everytime I see it.
