THIS THREAD WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS

What are they?
I started with The Order beginning, but I can't see how the ending would be different. Unless they mean 16 outcomes to import to The Witcher 3.

the 4 begining are the way you escape and who do you save on your way before you move to Flotsom. When you start the game you should play all 4 story lines (options) by order. The endings are the endings.... I won't spoil your game ^^

You could've killed the dragon and let letho go,kill them both, don't kill any of them, let the dragon and kill letho.Add other characters and you have even more combinations.
I can see the "convince la valette to surrender" and the "kill la valette" options, but what are the other two?

EDIT: Also, about the dragon, how is it possible that it would live after being impaled with a god damn tree.

Because dragons are badass. Especially this particular one, which is something you learn more about on Iorveth's path.

It heals quickly. Really, that's the explanation she gives you if you go for a different ending.
Now I feel bad :(
You can choose one of the two routes when getting out of prison.

Dragons heal fast, guess there is a special way they are killed in TW as it didn't die instantly.I didn't kill it so I don't know.
i think there 5 or 6 major outcomes depending on what side you chose during ch1 and ch2 and rest are variations like killing letho or letting him go etc.

About the dragon, well its a big f**king dragon isn't it ;)
kind of like being stabbed by a knife and still surviving , barely though , and dragon doesn't look too good either even if you let it live.
There might be 16 different states, but as far as I'm concerned it seems as if there's one ending. Well, one and a half, if you're generous. You leave Loc Muinne with Triss and Roche, or with Triss and Iorveth. The cut scene seems to be the same, ladybug and all. Maybe it's possible to get rid of your brothers in arms, but seeing how the game refuses to let you kill of Triss, that doesn't seem likely.

Yes, that was also weird part. Initially, I decided to kill the dragon to end its suffering aka coup de grace because I thought it's going to bleed to death slowly anyway and I'm not cruel. Then I saw a journal entry and had a WTF moment...

I've been doing the start for a whole week , over and over, (it looks so nice graphicly).
I can only see 2 choices, until you get to choose who to save from prison.

How does this convert to 16 endings ?

Im going to do saves for both choices side by side when i leave the prison.
Tommorrow, i like to take my time.

ps, anyone having trouble running youtube ?

**Spoilers**

The breakdown follows roughly as such.

The beginnings are around allowing La Vallete to live or die thus keeping the son of the mother alive.
Then followed by the choice in chapter 1 to follow Roche or Iorveth.

The endings depend on whether of not you kill the dragon and Letho or not. This leads to 4: kill both, kill neither, kill dragon not Letho, kill Letho not dragon. Multiply this by two for who you followed after Chaper 1 that makes 8. Now depending on your path, you have the choice to face the ending head on or do it through another character arch, ie. Triss or Saskia. This again multiplies the possibilities by 2 bringing us to the 16.
