Cant really apply that rule to PC games mate so many configs one game works perfect another runs like crap.

Yeah maybe just a driver issue or could be a driver to game engine issue which has to be fixed by PCD. That is one of the biggest problems with creating PC games, the monumental array of configurations mean something will be miss during intial internal testing.
