I am enjoying game mostly, but for exploration game jump height is too low, im having troubles jumping even on low rocks and that is very annoying.
I wouldnt say its too low, but there is no grabing and bending, so I got stuck between the hexagonals and cant get out.
The jumping system is really frustrating and with fall damage you can die falling repeatedly trying to get somewhere.
Falling and diying is part of fun in my opinion, its gets even more fun when you get teleport item.
But getting stuck is isnt fun though.
Hi guys,

Member of the dev team here.

Glad you're all enjoying the game!

Indeed, when I was testing the game a few months back, I flagged up that jumping felt odd. Unfortunately, though, the entire game has been balanced/designed with this specific jump design - and the Teleporter - in mind.

It would take rebuilding the entire game and repositioning everything/redesigning every single rock, hexagon, and piece of terrain to match a new jump design. So I'm afraid that can't change.

But:

1. Remember the teleporter! It can get you out of almost any sticky situation in the game! It can actually be fun climbing up hexagons if you use the teleporter.

2. When in doubt, play like it's real life! The game reminds me of Dark Souls in some ways, in that you have to treat each dangerous area like you would IRL, and be super careful/cautious. If there's a huge drop nearby - don't take risks!

That said, if you find any places which are genuinely impossible to escape from (which is never fun) please submit a bug report using F10 and we'll sort it out in coming months :)

Absolutely same here, stuck in the middle of hexa (basalt ?) rocks on the beach at the very start. Played for 10 minutes and already need to restart the game from the beginning because I'm stuck to death with rocks less high than me.

Either the game lacks climbing mechanics, or higher jump capacities. Or better tests to avoid stucking issues like this
, at least at the beginning, when you don't have the teleporter.

Yeah, I also got stuck in hexagons a few minutes after starting the game... I spent 10 or 15 minutes trying to jump out and in the end I fell into some very dark place and I couldn't see a thing.

And getting damage from falling from 2 meters high object to the sand is realy weird.
Luckly there are console commands and walkthrus just check out steam's guide section!
Has this issue been fixed yet?

if the jumping doesn't feel good/right, why was it made like that?
