I know that's cheating, but I already unlocked all 10 missions in original Roman Campaign by editing MISSION.DAT file in The Settlers 2 Gold\SAVE folder. Is It possible to unlock all missions in World Campaign using similar way - by editing certain game file?

Hi

Sorry to bring up an ancient post,but you have to edit the MISSION2.DAT file.This is all well and good,but i can't find that file in my C:\Users\colin\Documents\TheSettlers2\SAVE directory

Sorry for my stupid question, but is this actually the directory where the game is installed? By default it doesn't install in the user folder. Do you have all the game files in C:\Users\colin\Documents\TheSettlers2\ ?

I'm away from my PC where i have Settlers 2 installed.When i can use it again i'll get back to you ASAP.

Okay,i'm back at my PC.

No this isn't where i have my game installed,it's where the save games for Settlers 2 is.I can only see the mission.dat file,and no misssion2.dat file there.

I have checked where i have the game installed,but no misssion2.dat file there either.

I have tried entering the cheat codes,but they only bring up in game screens.

Hmmm... did you actually start a World Campaign game? I think that file only gets created when you start one.

Yes,i'm halfway through the 1st world campaign mission.I don't know if a misssion2.dat file is created once you beat the
1st world campaign mission.Maybe,maybe not...

I just checked my old backed up saves. I have MISSION.DAT and MISSION2.DAT in same save folder. These are from my old Windows XP days...

Maybe just try searching your PC for mission2.dat. Include hidden files.
