Good day,

I'm trying to install "The original Strife", but get the following error:

➤ ./gog_the_original_strife_veteran_edition_2.0.0.1\ \(1\).sh
Verifying archive integrity... All good.

./startmojo.sh: 55: ./startmojo.sh: /tmp/selfgz10839/bin/linux/x86_64/mojosetup: not found
Error: Couldn't run mojosetup

May it be incompatible with MUSL libc?

If you are looking for alternative ways of running Strife: Veteran Edition's single player campaign, go here:

Thanks, but doesn't your solution rely on me having the Strife data files, therefore being able to launch the installer anyway?

You can unzip the Linux installers to get the data files.

http://constexpr.org/innoextract/#download

https://www.mankier.com/1/innoextract (Man Page for that program)

Of course, you're in linux already so you can just download the program and read the man page.

To spare you the effort though, the commands you will need are:

innoextract goginstallerpathhere -I app\strife1.wad
innoextract goginstallerpathhere -I app\voices.wad
innoextract goginstallerpathhere -I app\sve.wad

By the way, that switch is an uppercase i, not the letter "L" . The lowercase -l (lowercase L) switch lists all files within the GOG installer.

The Linux installer is basically a zip file. There is no need for innoextract.
Thanks to both of you!
I did unzip it and can launch Strife with DOOM engines.
