Thanks!

Fortunately for you, you can now run Strife: Veteran Edition in the following source ports, so that should solve the problem:

1) GZdoom:

https://zdoom.org/downloads

2) Chocolate Strife:

https://www.chocolate-doom.org/wiki/index.php/Downloads

For GZdoom, make sure that the following 3 files are in the same directory as their respective source ports' executables:

strife1.wad
voices.wad
sve.wad

Edit 5/5/2018: Chocolate Strife only requires the strife1.wad and voices.wad files, as it does not support Veteran Editon, but it does support the original DOS version of Strife. Thanks mk47at for the correction.

TheBigCore: 2) Chocolate Strife:
Chocolate Strife does not use sve.wad which contains the Veteran Edition changes.
