Any info about when it's going to be released on GoG?

These sort of patch delays with 0 communication really cost GOG a ton. I was just about to buy it here since the DLC is a tiny bit cheaper and I like to support them, but not having the latest patch is a big deal. :/

Absolutely agree. Patch delays bothers me much more than any DRM so now I usually prefer to buy games on Steam. especially if the game is early access or frequently patched. Due to regional prices, this game was $15 cheaper than Steam's so I took the risk this time. I just need to be patient, but the lack of information sucks.
The problem is that GOG needs to verify all patches (correct me if I'm wrong), so releasing a game near a weekend is like saying "the first patch won't be here sooner than Monday".

Durante fixed the high quality DoF performance recently (patch not released on Steam yet), so I hope we'll get the latest update tomorrow.

Yeah, according to some comments I've read some time ago from developers, uploading patches to GoG is a hassle. They need to fix that.
So I guess no luck until tomorrow at least?

Did anybody try to contact GOG support?
Not only there's a delay with the patch of a recently released game, we also have to beg for any info. This is worse that any kind of DRM.

I submitted a ticket. I'll let you know if I get any information...
I'm getting pretty annoyed at how long this is taking as well.
Looks like we won't have any information today either.

Ticket was opened 5 hours ago and read 4 hours ago without a reply.

A "We are looking into it" instead of remaining silent would have been appreciated.

It's quite obvious that companies consider GoG buyers as second rate buyers and apparently GoG don't care about that. From now on I'm going to buy only games that aren't being updated anymore. This is not the first time I have to beg for info on patches. Sometimes patches takes not weeks but months to be released on GoG (Starpoint Gemini II for example).

I sent an email directly to XSEED and see if we have better luck with that.

I'll share if I find anything out.

Thanks!
Got a reply to my e-mail:

Hi,

We'll be waiting for an additional update from our dev before uploading a new build to GOG. The game builds are huge and take forever to upload to both GOG and Humble, so we're trying to bundle updates together. If there's no new update for the Steam version by tomorrow, I'll start preparing new builds for GOG and Humble with enough time for them to process by the end of the week.

Thank you for your patience! I hope you're enjoying Trails of Cold Steel on PC!

At least we know when to expect it more or less now.

I really think gog should drop the whole testing patches thing, I'd like to get the pacth when they get it, not a week later....

Edit: Just thought of this, but maybe they could put the untested patches as beta branches on galaxy? Of course it would be nice if non-galaxy users could get them too.
