I didn't get the issue with the new patch.
I did my first install a few days ago, the first update, and then the new update just now and everything still works fine.

i7 4770k @ stock
AMD HD7950
8 GB RAM

You know, funny thing, checked your pic, the only thing different with mine was resolution, picked different one and game working. So thank you for the help. :)

Funny cuz with the same resolution game worked fine before patch... oh well, one of this weird cases.
You should try changing resolution (in configuration tool), worked for me.

I have "Windows 7 Ultimate X64 (SP1)", I'm not sure if it can help locate why some have the "bug" and others don't ;)

It's because they uploaded broken version of patch at 1st, and ppl who used that corupted the game and had to reinstall it whole thing.

Well that was .. unfortunate. :(

Did you guys received the log error even with the new fixed 2.0.2.4 patch?

The game is still running but now I'm not sure if it's patched or not(I don't know whether the Bestiary was implemented, but here it's still not accessible yet).

EDIT: Nevermind. I've just reinstalled the game and installed the patch 2.0.2.4. It installed perfectly and I think it's working, as I can see that White Gehenna wrong display in Bracer Notebook has been fixed. Just to make sure, if you install 2.0.2.4 directly it automatically grab the fixes from 2.0.1.3, right? (I didn't installed the patch 2.0.1.3 this time)

Thanks for the tip. I'll try not installing patch 2.0.1.3. I'm currently re-downloading the entire game.

EDIT: Installing the base game and then the latest patch fixed up the issues I was having.

I can confirm it's fixed with new patch . Other people getting error's because their game is already updated . It need clean install .

GOG patch installers check file hashes , and it gives errors even they were same files with patch files . They must match with unpatched hashes :)

Those files changed with last patch . But others must be about Japanese voices .

My game wasn't starting up at all when I installed the new patch. (No errors or anything, just not launching.)
I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it without installing the patch and now the game works perfectly, so I'm pretty sure the issue is with the patch itself. (I wasn't having any problems pre-patch at all, I just like to keep my games updated).

The downside is, well, my game isn't patched now, but it's working.

As I said on last page, had same problem, and changing resolution in config tool after patching the game fixed that problem.

Yes, I don't know if it's linked to the latest patch or not, but I had that problem (the game asking for authorizations, then nothing happens), and it seems to be due to screen resolution (I switched the saves between 2 computers with very different resolutions). Running the config tool in the gog.com program folder make it work perfectly.

although it would sure be nice if that bug was corrected quickly, since it will annoy many people who do not know about the fix.
