I've heard Steam version has got few updates but i haven't seen any with GOG version. Atleast i haven't seen any updates with GOG Galaxy.

Can you download any updates manually then ?

You have to wait for the patches to be available, either via manual download on gog.com or via Galaxy.
There should be no delay with either of these methods; if it is available in Galaxy, it can be downloaded from the website.
Patches on GOG are generally a few days behind Steam since the updates are activated by the gog team.

You just have to wait, there is now way on your end to speed this up.

GOG tests all updates before adding them, what I'm doing is playing through First Chapter again to get a 100% save and remember the story, and hopefully by the time I'm done all the patches will have been approved.
