Does anybody know if there is the possibility to set or patch the language to japanese?

Thanks in advance!

There is a patch out there already. Don't know if I'm allowed to post a link though.

Okay
There is a fan patch to put the Japanese voices back in the game.

I have heard that it is also possible to switch Japanese text back into the game, but I don't have confirmation on that.

Could you please also message it to me.

I would be great if GoG could convince the publisher/devs to release an official undub patch as an extra for those who prefer the Japanese voices.
Won't happen. The publisher tried already, but the voice actors' license wouldn't allow the Japanese voices to be used outside of Japan.
Where can I find this patch? Please PM me if necessary.
Someone posted this thread on Steam; it appears to contain the Japanese voices.

(I have not personally verified this, but it seems others are satisfied with it.)

(FWIW, you can also turn the voices off entirely.)

To all of those installing a Japanese Language patch - keep in mind you will run into errors since there are more English voices in this PC release than there was in the JPN PC release. While this version has all the extra features and voices from the PSP version back-ported, the JPN version does NOT have all those features.

I don't yet own this game (researching it on this and other forums before I commit) so I can't verify, but the patch creator posted on the Steam thread saying that the assets in the patch are from the PSP version
I a dub hater. HUGE dub hater. But this game only uses voices for stuff like "Aww, is the battle over?" when you finish a fight or "Come on" when using a special ability. Seriously, I don't even notice the voices anymore xD Even if the japanese fan-made patch had the same amount of voices, I wouldn't even bother with it. I don't think is worth it. And like I said, I watch EVERYTHING in original language (be it english, spanish, italian, or sumerian). Everyone, just play the game, you will enjoy it =)

Ok, ok - there are multiple versions floating around, but I guess if you are lucky enough to find a patch like that with the PSP voices you'd probably be set. Also, I wonder if anyone is going to make a JPN language patch for all the text in the game. Mind you, I can't read the language very well, but it would be really neat to see the game at least unofficially support its original language.

If you're still waiting to buy this one, I'd say just go for it - for the 4 or so hours I've put into the PC version, I know that I'm definitely going to be playing this game and its sequel all the way through :)..... now if only this game supported game sharing between this and the PSP version....
If people want the original language all the way through, wouldn't be easier to buy the japanese version? Or is the remake english only? I thought Falcom did the remake and XSeed was the international resellers while Falcom was selling in Japan.
