Horrible things can happen to the mind if a save file is lost in mid-playthrough, due to things like blackouts, hard drive failure, little siblings manipulations, atomic winter, gremlin-induced corruption, flames and floods.
Specially traumatic things if on a Roguelike adventure, for there is no chance of replicating a series of fortunate events during a from-scratch new try.
So here is the location of the SAVE FILE for The Flame in the Flood on a Mac so you can stash it safely elsewhere and help your sanity abide.
Although this location is on Macs, my experience with other games that run in several platforms is that most share a somewhat(ish) similar location, so this post may work as a rough map to find the file for Linux and Windows too.
/Users/(USER ACCOUNT)/Library/Application Support/Epic/RiverGame
