Hello. Isaac is my all-time favorite game, so i bought it here, whereas i've got it on Steam.
But it seems GOG version has difference with steam version.
I check the item collection and saw a 7 items difference (cf image)
Who are they, and is there another difference ?

And witch update is it ? 1.7.7 (the last on steam)

Yes, please. I'd really like to know more about modding on this version, too. Or if we should expect it at all.

Also one of my all-time favorites and couldn't tell you how much I appreciate this game, but I think it's really important to know the differences and details of this, to me, long wished-for version.
Same for me, I would be pleased to buy it again here but would really appreciate some clarifications about differences with steam version and modding :).

To the best of my knowledge, mods are not supported at the moment.
Are there daily runs for the GOG version? I can't seem to find the option for them. (I have all DLCs installed, and no mods).

It would make sense for those not being part of the DRM-free version, since it'd be difficult to track players and have a global scoreboard and friends scoreboard, but still maybe if this is the case it should be mentioned on the store page?

Wouldn't mods work just the way they do on the steam version? The builds are mostly the same, except for the daily runs wich need a permanent internet connection. The thing is we can't download them from 'modding of isaac', since they require a steam account and nexusmods has only a few mods for now, so maybe our oly option for now would be using a page to rip mods from steam workshop like 'download steam mods'
It seems that gog version is pre-1.7.5, without the rework of taited lazarus, the three new items and the big balance of the game.

1. Currently, there are some critical files missing. Without them there's no mods support. I've found some people complaining about that around the web.
2. You can download mods from steam workshop using this site: https://steamworkshopdownloader.io/

1.I didn't know that. I haven't tried installing any mods yet, so I didn't know there were missing things,, i assumed it worked because the game has the mods tab in the main menu. Thank you dor the info, hope it gets solved soon.

2.Yeah, i use that page and http://steamworkshop.download/
Since the daily challenges (runs) are missing, then that would mean that the unlockables for those (I think it's three trinkets, but it could be more(?)) are either also missing, or are now connected to something else and unlocked in another manner (or maybe they are unlocked from get go). Or they will address this in an upcoming update.

Maybe this version is using its own numbering? kinda weird to release an old build, has anyone asked Nicalis?

No the daily run unlocks are one pill, one trinket and one item.

Are you update the game to the 1.7.7 ? Or is this gog release be condamned to be a dead born release ?

Again, has anyone contacted GOG and/or Nicalis? they probably don't read the forums, so if they made a mistake while making the build they're probably unware
