no achievements, developer are ghosting us and update 1.7.8 is out on steam but who know if this will be release on gog.

my god im really disappointed
Indeed. Really disappointed with this publisher.
This is disappointing.

I wish there was some direct way to communicate this frustration to GOG and, especially, the developer, here, and not have to resort to twitter or Steam forums, and get some kind of answer.

(I dislike the automated support AI bot -- I can't get anywhere with it)
Just wanted to let you know that I agree with 100% of everything said here.

Generally speaking, we GOG users continue to be treated as second-rate consumers. That's it. And as has already been said, the little we can do is look for the developers on places like Twitter or Discord, and pray that we get an answer, which is often disheartening.

Tired!
Exactly how I feel. I'm disappointed too since there no news about the GOG version w/ no updates. :/

I'm REALLY glad I'm not the only one, seriously. I love you.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this game. But I am really disappointed that an indie developer of this caliber couldnt care so much about who supports it (I have supported the game on other platforms as well). I just want some answers and not create flame. I'm doing what I can to get Edmund McMillen to hear me, but I'm being ghosted all the time. On reddit I created a post a while ago, but I was downvoted and they gave me some absurd answers. I really don't know in this case how this behavior can be justified, I hate fanboys.

I'll try to make my voice heard, because I paid for a game and I don't see why I should "have less" just because I bought it on GOG. Otherwise, I would have much preferred not to waste my money like that.
Voicing my disappointment and frustration here as well.. It certainly feels like the developer/publisher does little to nothing to acknowledge other platforms while being active on social media (I'm seeing frequent AMAs on Twitter) and continues to ignore emails and other legitimate inquiries concerning the state of their games on other platforms.

Dropping all their games here and then providing no communication, having unfinished builds and lacking update history feels more and more like a cash-grab at this point given how well-known this title is. There's also the issue of not being able to play any of the DLCs offline since there aren't any non-Windows builds available, along with other issues.

It's a real shame since this is one of my favourite games and I wanted to support the developer here as well. I'd refund all the DLCs since they're not working for me, but regrettably I only found that out after my refund period had expired..

I feel exactly the same. At first I didn't care that much, but later realized how much features we don't have compared to Steam. Do you have a link to your post on Reddit?

Exactly, share with us so we can support you
Has anyone been able to get in touch with GOG about this? the neglect is just bewildering, Isaac was their *big* christmas release and they hyped the launch for weeks, only for Nicalis to release an old build of the game...

I found this Twitter account that mentions everyday Nicalis and Tyrone Rodriguez to remind them that the GOG version hasn’t been updated since X days. He started at the 28th of March, but missed a couple of days (106-112). I guess I’ll like and retweet.

*WARNING*

On gogdb.org, I found out that a build was added the 15th or the 16th (depending of your location). Can someone can test out if a new update is available, and if so, what are the changes?
I can guarantee that there was no update. I have the game installed since day one just to keep up with an update, and no updates have been made to this day.

Unfortunate!
