Hello, like the subject says, I have 3 questions:
1) Travel time: I hate having to sell all my loot at Nub (of Nulb? The fishing village). Is there a way to get there quicker, or to sell your stuff easier? Like a teleport spell?

2) Create magic items: any tips on when or what to make?

3) Secret doors: Whenever I take a secret door, the exit disappears after I've used it. It seems they're one way only, is this correct, or a bug? Example: the spiral staircase in the Temple leads me to level 2, but it disappears after I've arrived at level 2. To get back up again, I have to take the regular exit.

2) I like to make a Vest of escape since it counts as master work thief tools. I also like the stat boosting items. Gloves of dexterity etc

3) I think you have to detect the other side too if you want to use the secret passage in both directions.

2. Wand of fireballs for wziards and wand of cure (insert magnitude) wounds for clerics. Nothing worse than being forced to face a horde when your wizard can't make thing go ka-blam and your cleric can't patch up the boo-boos.

3. This is from a FAQ on gamefaqs:

There is a secret staircase in the center of the map that leads to spiral
staircase. There is a secret door in there that leads to Dungeon Level One,
and if you follow the staircase down you will be dumped into the Air Temple
foyer. I would advise against going this way, however, as there is no way to
get back from that direction.

I believe it is a fifth magic user level spell. I'm not sure where to find any scrolls. Sorry. It's been weeks since I beat it.
Teleport can be learned at about level 9 and you also find a scroll somewhere in the lower levels of the temple after fighting some bad ass mages. I guess this is good to know if you don't want to waste a spell choice on it. You can also make a Teleportation Helmet afterward with Craft Wondrous item. I like that, since you don't have to waste a spell slot on memorizing it. However, I'm not sure if this is from the vanilla game or a CO8 thing.

For creating magic items, I just go with the usual stat boosting stuff. Also, for the later levels, getting Spell Resist on all your armor is incredibly helpful. Also, give your best fighter a Holy enchanted weapon. They'll tear things up. It's awesome. Your Cleric to have a Good domain power. Yeah, there's some other fancy things, but I like to keep it simple. Stats and damage, yeah?
