So, I'm delving into SSEE for the first time and after some customization and such, have it more or less how I'd like to play it... except for one thing.

When I first boot into the game, the fullscreen mode (be it already active, or activated by pressing the hotkey I assigned to it) looks great and without obstruction. But, if I happen to bring up the menus to change weapons, check inventory or what have you, when I go back into fullscreen, the listing for those menus stay on the screen. (see image below).

I'd like to have those vanish when i switch back to full screen. Is this possible? is it a silly setting I'm over looking or a funny bug?

If this helps, this (See link below) is what it looks like when I boot the game (every time). Only after accessing the menus out of full screen do I get the text staying in place.

very interesting, have you tried clicking those tabs at the bottom of the screen, but not entering the menus (i assume by this you meant the menus where you can adjust various options and save/loading games)

Sorry for the confusion, I do mean the hud windows (not the option/save/quit menus). To be fair, there's a lot on screen to give name to :P When Im interacting with the hud windows in non-fullscreen mode and then go back to full screen mode, thats when I'm experiencing the above mentioned issue.

Edit ** Update - So, I've been playing around with it, trying to get it to follow a pattern and thus far, on this particular night anyways, I've noticed that opening up my 'Data Reader' and interacting with that is what's causing the game to leave that content up on my fullscreen view. Playing around with it further, it seems to be avoidable if I open the reader only in non-fullscreen mode and when done interacting with it, clicking on a tab on the bottom hud (for General, Hardware, Software etc). Doing so will not make said issue appear. Which... would make me lean towards this being a weird bug. Interesting.

Fellow Citadel Citizen this is not a bug, it's meant to be like this so once you pick up items you can drop them in whichever active menu is on you HUD instead of exiting the fullscreen view. Also once you have grenades and some other key times you double click them then right click on the 3D view to release them and the engine physics make the rest :) hope this helps you out!

Oh. Interesting. I find it distracting atm, tbh. Thanks though. Better to know that it's meant to be like that.

I played Shock 2 first as many and couldn't wrap my head on the game mechanics for the first one until I saw this gameplay video done by the devs and everything started to click in place :)
