For those curious there is actual advanced graphic options for the game. Problem is the ingame menus dont provide you with any user-friendly means of tweaking them. So how do you go about messing withem or even finding them? Simple.

Jest venture to your installation of System Shock 2 and search for the file called as quoted "cam_ext.cfg"

In it is included many advanced graphical options for you to play with along with great detail/info for each if not most.

What may sum of these advanced graphical features be that I speak of?

Here is a small and not full list of jest a few features:

HDR Lighting
Bloom Lighting
Mipmapping
Anti-alias
Anistropic
FOV
& many more.

If you want to see what is possible with these options then venture over to see sum of these pics:

Your links don't work and there's already a link to a page giving some details about these in the stickied thread.

I did a search of the sticky thread and no where in there does it mention "Advanced Graphics" or "Graphics" period. Nor does it mention anything about the cam_ext.cfg file.

Also updated links.

I said there's a link to a page with that information in the sticky, not that the sticky has that text, so, of course you didn't find it with a search.

see the mod guide on systemshock.org
That's a quote from the sticky. It tells how to enable some things like bloom. After the user does that he can clearly see that there are more things he can do with it (it's not like you explained it in any more detail, as you said, the file itself has comments explaining what various things can do). That file has also been discussed extensively for the other tweaks it can do as well all over this forum section, whenever someone asks how to change their HUD display or has an issue with multi-sampling or whatever else.

Clearly even you found it by reading it somewhere, you didn't make it up. Others found it the same way.

Ask this simple question to yourself. Would sum1 make such a thread if they had looked in the stickied thread and found this info? No, I wouldnt have. Common sense like that goes a long ways. Basically think like the average person would not like you alone would.

I am sure im not the only 1 that has looked at the sticky thread and didnt see anything about advanced graphical options.

Are these screenshots from the full version of the game? What options did you use to achieve them?

Yes those are the full game. Read first post here I clearly tell you what file to look in. & in it it gives clear details where and how to make the game look like that.
I used this post (for the cam_ext.cfg options, the mods were similar, but I used the sticky here):

http://chriscamaro.hubpages.com/hub/How-to-get-the-most-out-of-System-Shock-2-Installation-Mods-and-Setup

I didn't go through and try each separately, but with all on like that I thought it looked pretty good, and I didn't notice any issues with performance.

Edit: I did also comment out crop_movies since I thought that looked better on my particular system & setup

Actually I found it by actually looking in the file myself. Not by going and reading it on sum site. Hence why I made this thread.
