It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

This only applies to Windows Vista/Windows 7 machines.

If your game is crashing after the intro, or there are any other problems, the first thing you should do is uninstall the game, and then reinstall it by right-clicking the installer and selecting "Run as Administrator". This is required for most Vista/7 systems.

EDIT
My bad, this post was about the installation.

This applies only when You leave default instalation path (Program Files). Other, non system directory, will work fine regardless of Administrator's rights for instalation.

Installing into the Program Files directory is stupid. It causes permissions issues which can be bypassed by installing anywhere else.
There is a reason why google chrome installs itself into appdata (lowest security zone on MS, allowing it to self update without user confirmation and bypassing many "protections"). And chrome is not any "weaker" for it, in fact it has the best security of any browser.

So, the default install path definitely needs to be changed from C:\Program Files\<junk>
to C:\Games\Syndicate
doesn't the issue with the Program Files folder exist only with UAC enabled? i've disabled UAC and always let anything install into the Program Files folder, and never had a problem.
I had to run the game as admin rather than just install as admin.
Played through the game running as admin without any crashes. (Can't get past the intro without admin)

Still no sound for me.
Are any of the above problems solved by installing through Galaxy?

Will installing through Galaxy on Windows 7 64-bit Pro even work? Will I have to edit the shortcuts to run as admin? And is the no-sound bug fixed yet?
I can't get Syndicate Plus to run audio. Tried from galaxy, offline installer with admin rights. Still no sound. Win 10
Any other way to circunvent this?

I'm in the same boat right now... Trying to run Syndiate Pus with sound o windows 10 64bits, installing through GOG Galaxy and I just can't ake it...

PLease... Help...
I executed the reset_language.bat file and run the game, still no sound but I could choose language , then sound settings (left them alone) and only after I confirmed all of this I got sound in the game.
