The game does run, however the methods to get better resolutions are a little tricky and may not work on all hardware setups so including it could cause more issues than it solves.

There are methods to on this site on getting higher resolutions (or, at least, fitting the program better with the proper aspect ratio) however it does require downloading another program which GOG may not have permission to use here.
Yeah this is useless. I just got this game for free.

-In "1024 768 16 0 BaseCMO.cmo", the "0" means "windowed" and the "1" means "full screen".
-Windowed means... nothing changes. Full screen means... you'll get a beautiful 1920x1080 black screen with sounds. A point-and-click game for blind people! Yay!
-You can play with dgVoodoo for hours if you want, it won't do anything.

You want it to play "full screen" on your own screen? Buy a 800x600 screen, or buy a PS4 and the PS4 version on eBay.

drennan: Create a file named player.ini in your Syberia folder with the contents:

800 600 16 0 BaseCMO.cmo

The only value you should ever edit in the ini is the 4th integer (0=windowed mode, 1=full-screen mode). The first three values (Horizontal resolution, vertical resolution, bit depth) are hardcoded so they will be ignored anyway, the last one (name of the main game file) should be left alone.

For Syberia 2, the contents of player.ini should be

0 BaseCMO.cmo

Once again, 0=windowed mode, 1=full-screen mode, leave the second parameter alone.
It's not working for me it just launches in full screen
