Nothing about it at the game's site, but the it does have online multi on Steam
Why no online for GOG?
The wording seems odd for a company behind the game, but it appears as no online multiplayer with this version, based on their twitter post (I'm not allowed to post links, apparently).

"The GOG version of the game doesn’t seem to include online features unfortunately."

This is a deal breaker for me...
I was all excited about this game coming to GOG until I read that post. And if I read correctly, not even multiplayer locally, single player only. No controller support either. Seriously Lizardcube.
Is it a Joke?
I feel sorry for GoG but I'm not going to support this.

I tried it.
Local co op (2 players) and controllers are OK but you're right no online features
Really ? :/
What a ripoff. I am removing it from my wish list
How odd. So if we buy it on Steam will the online coop work?
It is a real shame. If I ewer GOG, I would remove the game until they implement the same features as Stram has.

How come one is going to buy the game here without online at the same price? Ridiculous.
You could use something like Parsec Gaming to still play online, but it's not as straightforward as having it built into the game. I will likely buy the Steam version, but I'm not sure how best to voice dissatisfaction that the two versions don't have feature parity. I was ready to buy the GOG version.

Thank you for the clarification. 2 players only locally and not 4?! I don't know if this is Lizardcube, DotEmu or Sega's decision to dump down the GOG version, but if I don't get the same features as Steam/consoles, it's a no-buy for me.

pe7ouill3, do you get to the hear the soundtracks from SOR1 and SOR2 while playing?
