At the main title screen, hold down d-pad up + punch + start button.

This cheat does not recognize remapped buttons, so hit the default buttons.

Once unlocked, clear at least one save or survival attempt with Roo to create high score data in your save and Roo will remain available in all future loads.

I don't know if people without the DLC get Roo.

I was able to unlock in this way, but only with the gamepad:

- Stay on STORY or STAGE SELECT mode at the start menu
- Keep pressed "X" (in my case STAR MOVE)
- Keep pressed "UP"
- Press START and then release all the buttons
- Enter the STORY or STAGE SELECT mode and you'll have Roo (SOR 3) selectable

But I have no idea how to unlock it with just the keyboard, where is the START button on it ?

I did it with a controller, but from what I hear other people say:

At main menu screen: F1 + up arrow + Esc

Tried after installing the update, without Mr X's Nightmare patch: the cheat did not work.
With Mr X's Nightmare patch: worked.
