This game has only several scenarios. I am afraid they might become boring after some time. Are there any good mods and campaigns avaible for this one?

I used the sale some weeks ago, so I don't have the game very long, but it's pretty cool. BTW, if you like it, try out Commander - Europe at War by Slitherine. Pretty similar game mechanics, but better graphics, bigger map etc.

It's a bit like a Grand Strategy version of Panzer General.
I'd also suggest this freeware game:

it's an open-source version of axis & allies, but has many more scenarios (including a lord of the rings scenario, greyhawk, many WWII maps, WWI, Napoleonic Era etc.)
Also has PBEM, online play etc.
Try out the newest unstable, I think it's way better than the last stable available
