On Steam and so far it looks like it will stay there. Another developer not giving a s*** about GOG customers anymore I guess.
Yeah, it's been three weeks now. The Strafe Twitter is busy posting screenshots of new stuff they're working on, and nobody has even mentioned GoG. They sent out the patch to friggin' MAC users three weeks ago, and still no patch for GoG. Like, literally every other platform has it but us. Obnoxious.

A week ago I nudged them on Twitter in case they forgot about us, and never even got a reply. If they submitted the patch three weeks ago and GoG is just holding things up, the developer could at least SAY so. As it stands, it looks like they're just ignoring GoG for no reason. Which is pretty shameful for a game trying to position itself as a throwback for old-school gamers.

I backed the Kickstarter and was free to pick either GoG or Steam. I'm really regretting choosing GoG.
Another game to add to this GOGMix, I guess:
https://www.gog.com/mix/games_that_treat_gog_customers_as_second_class_citizens

The least they could do is to communicate the reason for this. The fact that they're completely silent about it makes them look a bit guilty. I mean, if it was GOG's fault for one reason or another they'd probably at least mention that.

No word from the devs or the GOG team. Steam is looking more deserving of my business day after day.
Rise your glasses ladys and gentlemen. Today we celebrate the one month anniversary of STRAFE missing the latest patch on GOG. Thanks for the ongoing not existing support Pixel Titans. You're really doing an awesome job not telling us shit about what will happen with this game.
Hi guys, i got a response from the strafe team and according to them they stated that patch 6 isnt coming on GOG due to personal and technical reasons. Instead patch 6 will come out alongside the next patch that they release.

Thanks for getting some answers. A lot of frustration could be mitigated if the team would at least communicate.

I do wonder why this happens so often. Is there something about GoG that makes it a huge hassle to release patches? Like I said above, Mac users got a patch and we didn't, so this probably isn't about the size of the userbase. I mean, if Pixel Titans were thinking, "Screw those GoG users, that's too small a group to bother with" then I have to think they would have come to the same conclusion regarding Mac.

It's easy to blame this on lazy, apathetic devs. And if this was the only time it happened it might make some kind of sense. But given how often this happens with otherwise well-regarded developers, I have to wonder if there isn't some more concrete reason.

I dunno. Again, it would be nice if some developers would be open about this so we didn't have to speculate. It's a frustrating problem and people aren't going to stop getting angry about it.
Whats even worse is that, even when i tried to contact devolver digital regarding this issue, they too would remain silent and never get back to me.

Technical issues? There haven't been any technical issues when they released patch 6 on Steam 1 fucking month ago. All they had to do was to forward the patch to GOG. I would really like to know what kind of technical issues prevented them from doing something that is that simple. I'll go back to playing Quake etc. instead since I can't play this one until the next patch will maybe finally fix it. PT really knows how to kill the interest in their game.
Ikr, its also becoming a chore of checking and comparing steam and gog versions of games, as well as chasing the developers to push patches on gog. Until gog either allows updates to come on gog easier or becomes more strict with the time developers have to release an update, gog will forever be plagued by this issue of having games out of date. Seems like steam is the only option.
