The TL;DR is along the lines of this: There's evidence that many of the people who worked with StarBound never got paid.

There are accusations of abuse and sexual assault. Unless something concrete comes along, I'd treat this like a player taking a false dive in a football match to try and get someone red card.

It better not be. I paid for the game and I expect GOG to keep it updated.

Well I do not think it will be. I have lost all hope a while ago.

Anyway there still not release 1.4.4 version. I don't know who is behind on it.

If that is Chucklefish, then very bad for them and this even may start me(and not just me) to think, that these above allegations can be a true. Well, who know...?

However, if is GOG just did decided to no update despite they could do this, then they must to know that in this way will don't help Chucklefish's workers by that rather, but only will harm GOG's customers that payed for Starbound here.

So GOG, do update this game if you can because this wasn't our foul.

It's 100% Chucklefish. GOG told me they contacted them about it, but they apparently haven't heard back. I've also tried to get in touch with the devs on their Discord, but that's like pulling teeth. Terrible customer service on their part.

I originally bought the game on HumbleBundle pre-1.0, so I've been playing 1.4.4 that way.

It's a wrong update or a joke? ingame it says 1.3.3, check it.

Downloaded it manually through GOG website, the 64 bit version, and it says 1.3.3. GOG fucked up badly on this one.
