Hi folks I'm trying to get the TIE Fighter Total Conversion for X-Wing Alliance. The mod needs three different archives. A ships update and two archives for the actual mod, one for battles 1 to 7 and one for 8 to 13.

I've got the ships update and the 8 to 13 missions but I'm unable to get the archive that has battles 1 to 7. The official website has lapsed and I can't find another source.

Does anyone have a working link for the 1 to 7 archive or still have the file itself?

Hi sorry to bother you again, but is there any chance you also have a copy of DSUCP? Turns out the one I've got is rally old and doesn't work with the GOG version.

Oh wow! I didn't know Darksabre's website had gone down.

I have 2.2, 2.5 and 2.6 saved. I think 2.6 was the last one, not sure. Give me a few minutes.

It seems there was some disagreement between Darksaber and others in their mod team. They took all the mods down just before I got the urge to play Tie Fighter again.

Zylox can you please send me the links for DSUCP 2.5 as well as 2.6, thank you (the last version I had was 2.3)
Also did you actually install 2.6 because it says on the xwaupgrade site that Darksaber deliberately and maliciously made it clear the contents of your X-Wing Alliance folder on your PC? Be careful! And thanks again for the links if you can do it please, thank you sir.

Btw, 2.6 installs fine it's just now a question of actually getting it to work with TFTC :/

Edit2: Just wanted to point out that I don't know if Darksaber deliberately sabotaged his installer, it's just what the admin of the xwaupgrade site posted (and I'm inclined not to beleive Darksaber would do that). If anyone knows the truth about what actually happened with Darksaber it would be interesting to know and I hope he's ok.

I don't know anything about the issues in their community but I do know I am DESPERATE to try this tiefighter total conversion and due to aforementioned community drama - every last thing is impossible to find online.

Apparently absolutely nobody thought to mirror any of it.

Can you please help me out and help me get these files?

Tie fighter was my red rider BB gun - the christmas present i'll never forget, when I was 12 years old. To be able to rexperience it without being totally distracted by the dated graphics would mean so much.

I'm sorry to bother but I too am looking for this conversion now. I see the post that there is a new one coming soon but I can't wait that long haha.

I also am wondering if the GOG version can be converted. Granted I found this thread here on the GOG boards but I also read that you need the CD to do the conversion. Is this true? Many thanks in advance.

I can't get it to download. It gets various ways thru the download and then fails. Last time I tried it got 4gb thru before failing and wouldn't resume. Tried the various mirrors and no luck. They use some sort of download manager on their server which has one time download links which expire after a certain amount of time. My internet speed is pretty slow and it usually says will take over 4 hours.
Does anyone have a link from somewhere else than the moddb server? A torrent file would be best
