If you truly have tried every fix in the forum, then it is time you opened a ticket and let the friendly support people see what they can do.

-edit-

Also, I notice that you did not specify which game you were talking about.

Also, they forgot to specify what GPU they have, if it's some sort of Intel integrated chipset they're in for a world of trouble getting KotOR or KotOR II to run.

[EDIT] OP, if you have an ATI/AMD GPU, delete both ati .dll files in the game folder (atigktxx.dll and atioglxx.dll, respectively). It's an easily skippable fix but it worked for me. These should be found in whatever folder you installed the game, and I say this because I was having the exact same problem when I installed the game. It works for both KotOR games.

Since he's already tried everything, I'm sure he fiddled with the dll's already.

I have tried deleting every dll from the game files, nothing has yielded any affect

Well it's no wonder the game won't start -- you're having a laugh, aren't you?
Oh man. We have so many idiots already. Now we have pretend idiots? "A mind is a terrible thing to waste."

No as in I have tried experimenting with every/each file taken out and re-arranged, every combination of every fix I have ever found has been tried, I have tried support e-mails and gotten nothing

Then give a precis, in list form, of just what you *have* tried, so that people trying to help you will know. It's no good, for example, people telling you to run it as administrator if you already are. You still haven't stated which game you can't get to run, and it has been asked. If you're not going to help us -- complete strangers who know nothing about your setup -- to help you, with pertinent information, then there's little point to the exercise.

That worked for me starting the game KOTOR 2 and I got to the main menu, after that I got into custom character screen(s), and right after the last custom character screen where a prompt says {play}, the game crashed...any ideas?

I am also using a AMD processor and I have windows 10. Ive tried running as administrator but it didn't help. help?
