So, has this game been remastered or given graphical updates since the recommended specs were set? My 940MX shouldn't have any problem running this, but on medium it gets jittery even with frames limited to 30FPS.
From what I can tell so far, the game should work perfectly fine on your computer as you easily meet even the recommended system requirements for the game.

I think that in this case it would be best if you got in touch with us directly by creating a Support Ticket.

It would help us enormously in pinpointing the issue if you could attach your DxDiag report to the ticket.

Alright. I'll check after our vacation.

Okay, I had to reinstall. I've locked gameplay at 30 FPS so that the game runs nicely. However, every once in a while there's lag near check points, leading to my input being carried out over the course of several seconds. There is a third-party fix, apparently, but that's for the Steam version. The GOG version has different files in the binaries folder.

Even with the lag, it's still playable... but it is certainly frustrating when check points are near enemies.

EDIT: Oh yeah, specs:

Windows 10
CPU: i7-8550U
GPU: Nvidia 940MX
RAM: 16 GB
Game is installed on HDD (Seagate ST1000LM035); SDD available if needed.

Please try installing the latest Physx software.

Try resetting your configuration files. To do this please press the WIN key+R and type:
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\

Once here please make a backup copy of and delete the following folder:
SpecOps-TheLine

Some users recommend trying Flawless Widescreen for the game so hopefully you might have some luck with this.

You might also like to have a look at the following troubleshooting guide.

That said, should none of the above help I really recommend dropping us a support ticket.
