Is there a reason that I don't know of?
Wish I knew, either slated for a later release... or we're not getting them at all, seeing how the forum is titled "Space Quest 4+5+6" and not "Space Quest series" :(
Ah, I see Space Quest collection (1-6) on Steam is $19.99.

I find it very odd that GoG doesn't include the entire series. Perhaps it has to do with the price point. Like someone else said, Steam has the full collection for $19.99. GoG doesn't have a price point beyond $9.99. Regardless, why not release two collections each, 1-3 for $9.99 and 4-6 for $9.99?
They could always change the forum name for the games when the others are released?
Anyway, picked up Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption and Phantasmagoria just now. Bought the Space Quest games during the Steam sale for around 2.49 (includes all six). For those thinking of buying the series, from what I've played, they do seem like they'll give you quite a few laughs. I haven't really given them a try though yet due to having a backlog of games to play and write about.

Yes. I can imagine the problem is no one (only hardcore fans) would pay $9.99 for space quest 1-3 when 4-6 is already $9.99. But they can't charge $5.99 for 1-3 because Activision gets $19.99 for the lot from Steam.

But SQ 1-3 are FAR superior to 4-6. SQ4 is good, but...
And why on Earth anyone would pay that much is beyond me.
I would pay 20 for the lot on GOG, not on steam though.

I disagree. The first few were good, but 6 was excellent.
It does seem a bit odd that SQ1-3 aren't included.
The one reason I'd really like would be for them to be delaying until they can include the Infamous Adventures version of Space Quest 2: Vohaul's Revenge.

[edit] forgot to mention, I found Space Quest 4 my absolute favourite, with SQ3 coming second and SQ5 third. Never liked SQ6, but didn't give it much of a chance. Does it get better after the first couple of sections?

Thanks for the link Andy_Panthro, will have to keep my eye on that. I like the first vga version of space quest 1 but I can't stand the older text parser verisons.
They have a whole month of Activision to go through. So they're pacing and staggering releases. No biggy. :)

No worries, I think the release of SQ2vga will be around April.
Infamous adventures also remade King's Quest 3, which is possibly the best KQ game, and the remake makes it endlessly better (in my opinion).
For other remakes take a look at the AGD Interactive website, they remade King's Quest 1 and 2, as well as Quest for Glory 2. The QfG2 remake didn't interest me as much, since I really like the original parser version (same for QfG1, since the vga version doesn't have the same feel... not sure why, although YMMV).
There's also supposed to be a King's Quest IV remake in the works (the one with Princess Rosella). More info over at Magic Mirror Games.
Enjoy.
[edit] Forgot to mention Quest Studios, for all your Sierra game music requirements.
Also, my review of QFG4 is now published on Abandonia! Only vaguely related, but I feel happy!

Yea I had a better look around their site and already grabbed kings Quest 3. AGD Interactive I found out about a while back, I downloaded all the games but unfortuanly haven't got around to playing them yet. Quest series games are fun and frustrating at the same time.
Not played kings quest 4 either as it was only in text parser so I'll keep an eye on that as well, thanks.
